The short version: some links on this site earn us a commission when you buy. You never pay more because of it, and it never changes which codes we publish or the result of a test.
How we make money
Discount Pit is free to use. We fund the site through affiliate partnerships: when you click through to a store from one of our pages and go on to buy something, the store may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to the store directly.
Outbound links to a store are marked as sponsored links in the page code, which is how we tell search engines that a commercial relationship may exist.
What it does not affect
- Which codes we publish. A code is published because it worked when we tested it, not because a store pays more.
- Whether a code passes. We apply codes at a real checkout. If a code fails, it does not go on the page, regardless of the commercial relationship.
- What we say about a store. Shipping, returns and product details come from the store's own published information.
Stores we have a relationship with
We may have an affiliate relationship with any store listed on this site. Rather than maintain a list that goes stale, assume that an outbound link to a store may earn us a commission. Where a page carries affiliate links, a disclosure appears near the top of that page, before the links.
Codes and prices change
We show the date we last verified each code. Stores can withdraw or change a code at any time without telling us, so a code that worked at our last test may stop working later. Always check the total at checkout before you pay. If you find a code that no longer works, tell us and we will retest it.
