Are the codes on Discount Pit free to use?
Yes. Every code is free, with no account and no signup. We earn a commission when you buy through our links, which costs you nothing extra and never changes which codes we publish.
How do you know a code actually works?
We apply it at a real checkout on the store's own site and watch the total change. If the discount does not land, the code never reaches the page.
Why did my code fail at checkout?
Most codes carry conditions: a minimum spend, new customers only, excluded sale items, or the store simply pulled it. Check the terms shown under the code, and tell us if it has stopped working so we can retest it.
How often do you recheck codes?
Every code shows the date we last tested it, so you can judge how fresh it is. We retest on a rolling basis, and anything a reader reports as dead goes back in the queue.
Do you publish stores you earn commission from?
Yes, and we say so on every page carrying an affiliate link. Commission decides nothing about what we publish or whether a code goes live.
